DeKalb Police, in partnership with Target Corporation, invites the public to take part in National Night Out on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the parking lot of Target, 2555 Sycamore Road.
National Night Out is a community-building event meant to promote positive relationships between police officers and the community they serve. This year’s event will feature the DeKalb Police Department, the DeKalb Fire Department, and other area first responders. Community members can check out emergency vehicles on display, meet some of our local heroes, and learn more about the work being done around DeKalb to enhance public safety. There will be fun activities for kids of all ages, car seat safety checks, and a police canine demonstration.
