Help the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (UUFD) of DeKalb raise funds for their children’s programming and have an awesome time this Saturday, October 29 from 4:30 PM – 8:30 PM. They are easy to find on the corner of 4th and Locust in DeKalb, with plenty of free parking. Enjoy a concert by UUFD’s own Ordinary Monsters music group at 4:30. Listen to a Spooky Story – Spooky for Kids at 5:30; Spooky for Teens and Adults at 6:30.
Deluxe Divination! They will have not one, but two people doing readings. You can consult either Madame Wren’s Unique Bird Oracle or Black Jack’s Tarot Cards or Palm Reading in the quiet of their library! Make some Clever Crafts and check out the Bake Sale full of tasty, creepy goodies!
Meet and mingle, show off your costume and admire others. Enter the Costume Contest and win fabulous prizes (entry fees: $5 for 13 and under, $10 for 14 to adult). Judging Schedule:Ages 6-13 at 6; 14 to 54 at 7; Seniors (55+) at 7:30. Thrill yourself in their kid-designed, kid-run Haunted House! (Don’t be late! Last admittance will be 8:15). Face the Spider Web Challenge!
The UUFD is requesting a donation of $10 per person or $25 per family at the door for all this great, safe, Halloween family fun! Hosted by Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of DeKalb.
