The third of four monthly Thrive Farmers Markets will be held on the front lawn at St Paul’s Episcopal Church, 900 Normal Road, this Saturday, August 15, 2015. The market will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature fresh produce on a pay-at-what-you-want basis. Thrive is an outreach-church development group that has been seeking ways to make a difference in community life. The garden project was launched last year. Members of St. Paul have partnered with DeKalb County Community Gardens in organizing the market. There will be fresh produce for sale and activities for children.
Residents will pay what they want for the produce and any profits from this sale will be turned over the the DeKalb County Community Gardens organization. St Paul’s Episcopal Church is located at 900 Normal Road in DeKalb, at the intersection of Normal Road and Greenbrier Road. The market will be on the front lawn. For any questions please call St. Paul Episcopal Church at 815.756.4888.
