Northern Rehab Physical Therapy Specialists recently held a community drive to collect needed winter coats, hats, mittens and gloves for Sycamore United Methodist Church (SUMC) Coat Ministry during this holiday season. Over 150 coats and numerous hats, gloves, scarves, and some boots were recently delivered.
Pictured here is Northern Rehab’s Director of Community Relations Deb Loitz (left) with volunteer Ann Smith (center) and SUMC Coat Chair Mary Ann Warman (right). Mary Ann expressed, “We are so grateful for the donations of so many warm coats! The need for coats and winter gear is always increasing, and this donation will help so many in our community to stay warm.”
The SUMC Coat Ministry is open every Monday from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm during Food Pantry hours at the church located at 160 Johnson Avenue in Sycamore.
