Sycamore Speedway had a stellar weekend of racing last weekend, Aug. 9 and 10, 2013. Full Demolition Derby on Friday night was full of excitement. Those boys not only smashed each other but rolled each other. They were determined to take the win. Saturday night’s show was a great tribute to the final IRS Midget, 4 Bar Super Late Models and Modified Compacts. A full field of cars in all classes and Sycamore Speedway says they will definitely bring this show back again for 2014.
For this coming weekend, Sycamore Speedway is hosting a Compact Demolition Derby, Spectator, Compact and Powder Puff Racing, Figure 8 and 1-on-1 Drags for their Friday night’s show. Saturday night’s show is the 2nd Annual Loop Day sponsored by 97.9 The Loop. There will be tons of giveaways, great music and fun for everyone.
For both nights of racing, the gates open at 6pm, Time Trials at 7:15pm, and Racing at 8pm. General Admission is $12 for Adults on Friday night, $5 for children ages 6 through 13 and for children 5 and under are free. Sycamore Speedway accepts cash only.
