Ever wonder if you would survive the Zombie Apocolypse? Now is your chance to find out at the Zombie Dash 5K! You can register as a “live runner”, “hungry zombie”, or “medic”. Live runners are fitted with a “life flag” and start 3 minutes before the zombies are released. Zombies collect as many “life flags” as they can. The first three live runners to cross the finish with a flag attached win the runners portion. The three Zombies with the most flags in hand crossing the finish wins the zombie portion. Medics can register to run and will not chase or be chased, only run for fun. Medics will start after the Zombies go off. The top three Medics to cross the finish will receive medals also.
Zombie Dash is sponsored by the Clinton Rosette Middle School PTA. The event is this Saturday, October 20th, and kicks off at 8:00am at Clinton Rosette Middle School, at 650 First Street in DeKalb. 5K fee is $30/Live Runner, $30/Zombie and $25/Medic. All participants will receive a awesome and scary t-shirt. Costume “Trick O Treat Trot” offered for kids under 10 at 9am. $10 registration fee.
