Hometown Automotive Professionals Relocating After 46 Years

Since 1964, Bockman’s Auto Care has been the place to take your vehicle for any inspections, repairs, or preventative maintenance services. After 46 years, Bockman’s Auto Care is relocating its automotive maintenance and repair facility to 2158 Oakland Drive in Sycamore, just east of Ollie’s Frozen Custard on April 1, 2010.

“Trusting a repair facility with your automotive needs is no small matter” says owner and operator, Jon Bockman. Bockman’s Auto Care, has been a family owned landmark in downtown DeKalb providing professional diagnostic service and repair at an affordable price. “We do everything within our control to build and earn that trust every day. We are committed to achieving total customer loyalty by providing consistent delivery of services that exceeds and even anticipates their expectations for value.” says Bockman. “In doing so, they have helped us build our business in spite of our location. We want to be our customer’s hometown automotive professionals, building long-term relationships with our neighbors”.

Over the years, Bockman’s Auto Care has expanded its services to include all makes and models of foreign and domestic vehicles while using the latest in testing and diagnostic equipment. Bockman’s Auto Care maintains a technical edge by continuously training its automotive technicians and keeping up with the latest in computer diagnostic techniques.

The concept and approach at Bockman’s Auto Care are different from most automotive companies. Bockman’s Auto Care strives to never recommend unnecessary services. “Our goal is to make our customer’s transportation expenses as reasonable as possible, while providing our customers with reliable service for their vehicle. We tailor our recommendations to the way the vehicle is used, not blindly recommending services according to an arbitrary schedule,” says Bockman.

“There will always be somebody who is willing to do the same work for less money,” says Bockman. “Our treatment of our customers separates us from the rest. With the customer, we discuss what their options are and efficient way for them to invest their money in their vehicles.”

The new expanded location will provide added value for its customers. The new facility will provide additional workspace to service more vehicles than ever before. From multi-car families to commercial accounts’ whose fleet and personal vehicles require servicing. Along with complimentary shuttle service, convenient access to restaurants and shopping, free Wi-Fi Internet access in a new comfortable reception area, a “thank you for your patronage” hand car wash will also be offered.

Bockman’s Auto Care is a certified NAPA AutoCare Center and is an AAA Approved Auto Repair facility. An AAA facility must meet the highest standards in vehicle repair, competency, reliability, cleanliness, overall experience and fair pricing and employ only trained, Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certified technicians to be awarded the AAA designation. Having access to NAPA quality parts and their Peace of Mind Warranty provides additional protection of your vehicle’s health and your investment.

“If you presently do not trade with a shop for your regular service and repair needs, we look forward to an opportunity to earn your business through trust and loyalty. We would like to add you to our family of loyal customers,” says Bockman.
