The DeKalb County Community Gardens (DCCG) has an opportunity to earn a $5,000 grant for the Garden Paths of Hope program. Garden Paths of Hope program provides employment, training to homeless and individuals with disabilities.
They started out about 10 days behind other organizations from across the country trying for one of three $5,000 grants. They are the only organization in DeKalb County trying for the grant.
DCCG will need 10.000 votes most likely to win. They have moved from 116th place to 19th in one week!
They have until October 24th and interested parties may vote each and every day until then!
