DeKalb, IL – August 20, 2025 – Tacoverse, a fresh and bold new Tex-Mex restaurant brand designed for the next generation, celebrated the grand opening of its very first location today in DeKalb, Illinois.
With a mission to re-imagine tacos, burritos, bowls, salads and mocktails through clean ingredients and modern flavor, Tacoverse brings a Gen Z–friendly dining experience to the community.
Highlights of the opening day included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, live music, a mocktail tasting, and giveaways for the first 100 guests. Customers were invited to join the #SayCheeseTacoverse selfie challenge at the brand’s signature photo wall for a chance to win prizes.
