A new Orange Bowl themed Huskie has appeared atop the office pylon at Route 23 and Hillcrest in DeKalb. The statue was loaned to RVG Commercial Real Estate by Mike Mooney. Randy Hayes who owns Hayes Body Shop in DeKalb painted the statue in an Orange Bowl theme. Chuck Shepard of Shepard Construction installed the statue on the pylon of his building at 444 E. Hillcrest in DeKalb. Everything was donated by the local businesses.
Crede quod habes, et habes
Though apt to be misunderstood, this Latin proverb does not advocate wishful thinking but the power of positive thinking to affect the success of our endeavors. Believe that you have it, and you do, is a premise we have all clung to at one time or another as we strove for the impossible, only to attain it after great struggle.

I drove by yesterday and saw the Huskie atop the sign. Went by too quickly to be able to read the words; it’s cool to know what it means. Thanks to all who were involved for this wonderful show of support. GO HUSKIES!!!
