Santa Comes to DeKalb this Thursday December 1st! At 6pm, ReNew DeKalb will have cookies, cocoa and caroling at the Egyptian Theatre followed by Santa’s arrival at 7pm. There is a short parade ushering in Santa to his house at the corner of Locust and 2nd Streets. Kids will have to opportunity to visit with Santa in his house, on the corner of 2nd and Locust after his arrival.
DeKalb does Christmas right with fun for 3 weekends in December.
Horse Drawn Carriage Rides: December 3, 10, & 17 from 11am-2pm. The complimentary Carriage rides start and end at National Bank & Trust on 3rd Street, downtown DeKalb.
Visit with Santa: December 3, 10, & 17 from 11am-2pm. Kids can visit with Santa in his house on the corner of 2nd and Locust Street in the Van Buer Plaza. Bring your camera, pictures are encouraged.
