The 3rd Annual Reuse-Recycle Day at the Sycamore Library is this Saturday, April 14th. The Sycamore Public Library will accept any magazines, books, cd’s, dvd’s VHS and encyclopedia’s you no longer want only on Saturday, April 14th from 9 am to 1 pm at the Sycamore Public Library, 103 East State Street, in downtown Sycamore. This one day event will be the last day that the library will accept donations until the fall.
NIU Cares Day volunteers will be on hand to help move and sort through your donated books and magazines between 9 and noon on Saturday April 14th in the Board Room. Get your Spring cleaning done, and they will go through the books and magazines you bring in. Those items can be added to the library collection or sold in the book sale will be kept and stored and the rest will be sent to International Paper for recycling. International Paper will give those old books a new life by making them into new paper.
