
James J. “Jim” Dombek
Resource Bank, N.A. is pleased to welcome James J. “Jim” Dombek to its team at Resource Bank Trust. With over 15 years of experience, Jim is an expert in trust services and portfolios, as well as estate, probate, and tax planning. In addition, with the Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) certification and as a member of the Federal Trial Bar and the Illinois, DeKalb, and Kane County Bar Associations, Jim provides knowledgeable investment guidance and counsel to his clients.
Incredibly active in his community, Jim is a member of numerous volunteer community groups throughout DeKalb County, including Opportunity House, The Sycamore Pumpkin Festival Committee, Three Fires Boy Scout Council, Kishwaukee Habitat for Humanity, the Saint Vincent DePaul Society, and several others. Jim has been a member of the Sycamore Community Unit School District #427 Board of Education since 1997 and President since 1999. He is a Permanent Deacon for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rockford, having been ordained in 1991. Jim completed his undergrad work at NIU, received his MA at Loras College in Dubuque, and earned his Doctor of Law degree at the IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago.
