Raise Your Glass To Giving at Waterman Winery

Join them at DeKalb County’s local Waterman Winery & Vineyards, in raising money for the local Toys For Tots this Thursday, November 13th, from 6-9pm. There will be 15 extremely generous businesses displaying their products along with Waterman Winery offering Wine tastings at the event, 6 tastings for $5.

The first 20 guests will receive a wine tasting coupon, $5 value. Every guest will get 1 raffle ticket when they arrive but can receive more tickets for every toy they donate. Tickets will also be available for purchase throughout the event. Come and get some early Christmas shopping done, enjoy some wine and give to this amazing local cause.

Last year, IN DEKALB COUNTY within a day and a half, over 2500 children from over 950 families had a merrier Christmas with new toys, books, and stocking stuffers. Toys for Tots is community members helping others less fortunate than themselves. The success of a campaign depends on the support of the local community and the generosity of its people who donate toys and money. It is small events like this with people dedicated to helping those less fortunate make Toys for Tots a success. Waterman Winery will also be open on Friday for wine tasting and holiday shopping with vendors. Friday, the 14th will be co-hosted by Somonauk Junior Women’s Club and Waterman Winery. There will be an entry fee of $15 which includes wine tasting, a wine glass and a raffle ticket. Proceeds from this event go to projects supported by the SJWC.
