First Midwest Bank has announced it will close several local branches. According to sources 3 branches in the DeKalb area will be part of the 19 plus Banks/Branches that will closing in the Midwest. The Branch on 1029 Pleasant Street, DeKalb; the Branch at 2276 E US 54, Serena; and the Branch at 200 Main North, Leland will be effected (no formal date is set).
