Updated: October 9, 2012 is the last day to register to vote. If you are currently not registered to vote, or wishing to modify your registration information, please visit the Elections Office at 110 East Sycamore St., in Sycamore, OR log onto www.votedekalb.com to find a deputy registrar close to your home.
Two forms of identification, (proving residence within the County), are required to register to vote. These need not be photo identification cards. Residents interested in registering to vote are encouraged to call 815.895.7147 for more information.
Beginning October 10, 2012, residents still interested in registering may do so through Grace Period Voting, but must also cast their ballot at the same time. Voters may participate in Grace Period Voting at the following locations and times. Please note, times are the same for all locations:
Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 9am to 4pm
Wednesday: 8am – 4 pm
Thursday: 9am – 7 pm
Saturday: 9am – 12 Noon
Sycamore Campus – Gathertorium

NIU Campus (Beginning Oct. 22, with Early Voting) – Holmes Student Center
Art Gallery Lounge – Located near the Hotel Lobby on the main level

Voters wishing to take advantage of Grace Period Voting may do so until this period closes at 12:00 Noon on November 3, 2012.
