Tuesday, March 8th, is the last day voters have to register for the April 5 Consolidated Elections. If a voter wishes to vote on Election Day in their normal polling location, they must register by March 8, 2011. Grace Period Voting begins on March 9, and runs until March 29. Grace period allows those voters who miss the March 8 deadline, to register and vote at the same time.
Voters may take advantage of this period at the following locations:
March 9 – 11: DeKalb County Administration Building, Second Floor. 110 East Sycamore St., Sycamore, IL 60178. 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
March 14 – 29: DeKalb County Legislative Center. 200 N. Main St., Sycamore, IL 60178. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM; Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM; and Saturdays 8:30 AM to 12:00 Noon.
