Join the KSO as they ‘go to the movies’ this Friday, March 8th from 7:30 to 9:00pm. This family-oriented concert is a fund-raising event for the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra. It will feature music from movie favorites such as Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Apollo 13, Les Misérables, Pink Panther, West Side Story, Batman, and Spiderman. In addition to the music, there will be movie clips, paparazzi, prizes, a silent auction, and a raffle.
Tickets are $15 per person and will be available at the door prior to the concert and will also be sold in advance of the concert date at these local businesses: Sycamore Antiques, Kar Free Flowers, Hillside Restaurant, and LePrint Express. The concert will take place at Boutell Memorial Concert Hall, 300 Lucinda Ave, Music Building, on the campus of Northern Illinois University. For more information click here.
