Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra logoThe Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra invites the public to its Holiday Pops Concert: Winter Wonderland.

The concert begins at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, in the Boutell Memorial Concert Hall of the NIU Music Building.

Pre-concert music, beginning at 6:15 pm, will be provided by the NIU Suzuki Program. Post-concert music will be provided by the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra Brass Quintet.

The traditional family concert will feature many holiday favorites, including Haydn’s “Toy Symphony,” a seasonal sing-along and selections from the movie, “Frozen.” This performance is sponsored in part by the George and Betty Dutton Foundation.

Tickets go on sale 30 minutes prior to the concert. All seats are general admission (no reserved seating). Tickets cost $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors 62 and older, and $5 for children younger than 12.
