Craig Jackson (Willamette University ’97) has been named the new Athletic Director at Kishwaukee College. Jackson comes to Kishwaukee after serving as the Director of Athletics and Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Montreat College in Montreat, North Carolina. Through his 24-year career, he has served in a variety of positions at all levels of collegiate athletics, primarily as a coach for women’s basketball.
Under Jackson, Montreat College earned four Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Championships and six Champions of Character awards, the most in the AAC during that three-year span. In addition, he presided over an athletic department expansion that included the addition of junior varsity sports as well as men’s and women’s tennis and men’s and women’s lacrosse.
Jackson stated, “I am very excited to join Kishwaukee College with its strong tradition of athletic excellence. College athletics is changing across the country and I am excited to lead the Kougars into the next championship era.”
