The Early Childhood Center at Kishwaukee College is currently accepting applications for children for the Spring 2016 semester.
The ECC provides early care and education for children between the ages of two and five in its two spacious classrooms and outdoor learning environment. The ECC enrolls children of community members as well as those of Kishwaukee College students and employees. The ECC believes that young children grow, learn, and develop in an environment where they feel safe, secure, and loved and that a child’s first school experience sets the stage for all later learning.
The ECC has achieved Gold Circle of Quality rating in the ExceleRate Illinois Quality Rating and Improvement System administered by the Illinois Department of Human Services. The ECC is also nationally accredited by the National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs. The ECC is licensed by the Department of Children and Family Services, a participant in the USDA’s Child Care Food Program, and a member of Community Coordinated Child Care (4-C). Childcare financial assistance for low-income families is accepted.
For more information, call the Early Childhood Center at 815-825-2086, ext. 2150 or visit www.kishwaukeecollege.edu. An online application is available on the Kishwaukee College website.
