The Kishwaukee College Collision Repair Technology (CRT) Program received a 2014 Chevy Cruze from the Collision Repair Foundation, an organization that works with CRT programs across the U.S. to support the training of future CRT professionals. The Chevy, damaged in an accident, was donated by State Farm to the Collision Repair Foundation. Greg Brink, CRT instructor at Kishwaukee College, stated, “We are very grateful for this donation. The students in both structural and non-structural repair courses will work on the vehicle. It is great to receive a donation of a newer vehicle because it gives the students hands-on experience with the makes and models they will repair in the work world.” The CRT program accepts donations of vehicles that have sustained body damage in accidents, are no longer drivable and are model year 2000 or newer.
