Find out the answers to these questions and more when Indian Valley Theatre’s Summer Tween/Teen Theater Workshop presents ‘The Snow Queen’ by Hans Christian Anderson; adapted by Mrs. Evelyn Merritt. Performances will be on Saturday, July 27th at 2pm and 6pm at the historic Sandwich Opera House, 140 East Railroad St. in Sandwich. Students in the Tween/Teen Theatre Workshop are currently participating in an extraordinary experience where they are exploring their inner talents and are being introduced to the many details that are involved in performing a full length play. This includes building sets, gathering props, working with costumes and developing characters. Not only are they rehearsing the play, but they are also participating in theatre games and activities that introduce the basics of theatre. Every student has been cast in a part adapted to fit their specific talents and needs. This will allow them to explore, imagine, create and have fun! Students are being taught and directed by Michele Wade, assisted by Zoe Michaels.
The IVT Summer Tween/Teen Theatre Workshop continues to create quality Youth theatre enjoyed by participants, family, and friends.
