For its fourth consecutive year, Illinois Community Credit Union is awarding $5000 in four scholarships to area students attending Illinois colleges and universities. ICCU is granting two scholarships in the amount of $1,500 each to selected graduating high school students and two scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each to continuing education students who will be attending an accredited college or university within Illinois.
Using the hashtag #ICCUCollegeCash, ICCU is promoting and funding the scholarship program, dedicated to helping its young members achieve their academic dreams and reach their full potential. Applicants are required to be qualified members of the Illinois Community Credit Union.
“We are delighted to announce the continuation of our scholarship program, which reflects the importance of academic achievement, leadership and community spirit,” said Thor Dolan, President /CEO of Illinois Community Credit Union. “Knowing that many accomplished young people are part of the ICCU family makes us extremely proud to play a small part in their educational futures.”
