
One of the most amazing celestial sights is the Northern Lights. If you live north of G3 line (see chart below), you may just be able to see Aurora Borealis tonight.
The Aurora Borealis is a well known light display in the Northern Hemisphere created by colliding charged particles in the atmosphere. A display of colored lights in the sky, also called northern lights, caused by the interaction of particles from the sun with the upper atmosphere near the North Pole. (NOTE: A similar display, called the Aurora Australis, occurs in the atmosphere above the South Pole).
In early fall 2021 local tour company FunME Events Travel will be doing a small group tour to ‘Iceland’ to experience the Northern Lights and enjoy this unique country.
