Invitation to Attend Focus Group Meetings for the Development of a Parks and Facilities Master Plan
The DeKalb Park District is working with the firm of Bonestroo, Inc. to develop an Outdoor Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The plan will serve as a tool to guide the District in the areas of future land acquisition, improvements to existing parks, the development of new parks and trails as well as strategies for implementation for the next ten years.
Key to the development of the plan is the engagement of the community in this process. The District will host two focus group meetings on Wednesday, August 10 at the Sports and Recreation Center, 1765 S. Fourth Street. The first meeting will be held from 3- 5PM, the second from 6-8PM.
