The Art of Tattoos

Jamie will guide you through the rich history and cultural significance of tattoos, exploring different styles and the artistic process behind creating permanent art on skin. This is your chance to get an inside look at the life of a tattoo artist and ask all your questions. Whether you’re thinking about your first tattoo, you’re an art lover, or you’re simply curious about this ancient practice, this program is for you. Registration is not required. We will sing lots of simple and interactive songs, do finger plays and rhymes, practice sign language, and read an easy book. All of these activities are great for babies’ developing brains. Grief Support Group

Join others going through grief and loss and receive support in a safe and confidential setting with facilitation from the Family Service Agency of DeKalb County. In this ongoing grief support group, you will have the opportunity to share your experiences with grief, receive insight from peers and the facilitator on the grieving process, and learn more about grief. This group is open to adults experiencing grief from any loss, no matter where they are on this journey. This grief support group does not replace other mental health services. If you need individual counseling or other mental health services, call 211 to find support in your area. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or need immediate attention for a non-life-threatening mental health need, please call 988. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, please call 911. This support group is free and intended for adults. No registration is required. Beyblade Club

“3! 2! 1! Let it rip!” Practice your Beyblade battle skills in a no-pressure environment. The library will provide arenas to use, and a few older Beyblades will be available to borrow. You are encouraged to bring your own Beyblades since we will have a limited supply. You can also bring any of your own arenas or accessories to try out. There will be no specific structure or battle bracket followed, just free play. Play at your own risk; the library is not responsible for any damaged items. Queer Art Club
