The 57th Annual DeKalb Kiwanis Pancake Day will be held at the new DeKalb High School this Saturday, March 3rd. Tickets are $6 for adults in advance ($7 at the door) and children (6-12) are a $4 donation.
Kiwanis is a worldwide service organization for people who want to become personally involved in making their community a better place to live. The Kiwanis Club of DeKalb was chartered January 21, 1921. It its first 90 years the club has sponsored over 500 projects and activities which emphasize “serving the children of DeKalb and the world”. The club reads to pre-schoolers and buys books, hands out kid ID kits, sponsors library cards and flies American Flags on the flag holidays.
The event runs from 7:am to 12noon. The new DeKalb High School is located at 501 W. Dresser in DeKalb. If you have any questions call Eva at 847-530-7192 .
