The DeKalb Fire Department welcomed four new Firefighter/Paramedics on Monday during a swearing-in ceremony held at Fire Station Four.
Cal Thompson, Christopher Eytalis, Peter Saucedo, and Quaid Gill were officially sworn in and joined the department’s ranks. Family members, colleagues, and city leadership attended the ceremony to recognize the new hires and celebrate their commitment to serving the DeKalb community.
The DeKalb Fire Department provides emergency medical care, fire suppression, rescue services, and public safety support throughout the city. Adding four new Firefighter/Paramedics strengthens the department’s ability to respond quickly and effectively when residents need help most.
Congratulations to Cal Thompson, Christopher Eytalis, Peter Saucedo, and Quaid Gill as they begin their service with the DeKalb Fire Department.
