Community safety’ relates to your sense of personal security and feeling of safety in a place where you live, work, or spend your leisure time. The DCP/SAFE Violence Prevention task force wants to know from DeKalb County residents how they feel about the safety of their community, what types of matters affect community safety, and what could help to increase community safety.
All DeKalb County residents are encouraged to provide feedback on community safety by completing a brief on-line community safety survey. To access the survey, visit www.dcpsafe.org. The link to the community safety survey can be found near the bottom of the home page or click here to go directly to the survey.
The DCP/SAFE Violence Prevention task force is a group of diverse voluntary members committed to increasing awareness and promoting best practices in violence prevention. The community safety survey will assist the violence prevention task force in understanding current and emerging community safety trends, and assist in guiding the priorities of the task force for the following year.
