There is a Winter Weather Advisory in effect in DeKalb County until 9 am this morning. There is currently freezing drizzle happening over portions of and Northwest Indiana and central, east central, north central and northeast Illinois until 9 am this morning, including during the morning rush hour.
Forecasters say to expect a light glaze of ice on untreated roads, parking lots and sidewalks making them very slippery. A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow
down and use caution while driving.
