City aldermen from wards with property located within the City’s Tax Increment Finance (TIF) districts will be hosting informational forums with interested residents to review past and pending TIF project being considered as part of the FY 2017 budget. A map of the districts is attached.
With TIF to expire in about five years, attendees will have an opportunity to learn how TIF has been used in their neighborhoods and to provide feedback on future capital expenditures that City staff is evaluating through the budgetary process. A schedule for these meetings is as follows:
