Join NIU STEM Outreach for a dazzling evening of stargazing and viewing of the annual Perseid meteor shower this Sunday, August 12th, from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm. These brilliant meteors radiate from the Perseus constellation and appear throughout the sky.
From 6:30-9 p.m., food is available for purchase. From 7-9 p.m. experts will discuss the night sky and hot astrophysics topics. And from 9-10:30 p.m., after dark, watch the meteor shower and view the night sky through your own telescope or those provided by NIU. For more information please visit the NIU STEM webpage.

Oh I’d love to. I’ve been to a couple of their stargazing events and they are quite well organized, informative and fun. However, I have a commitment for that evening. ð¤¨
