Hinckley Parks and Recreation is sponsoring the Tree Lighting in front of the Community Building this coming Friday, December 1st. The Hinckley Fire Department will provide an escort for Santa so he can make a quick stop to light the tree.
They will have holiday treats and a hot cocoa bar beginning at 5:00. Area girl scout troops will be on hand to lead Christmas carols starting at 5:45 pm while everyone wait for Santa’s arrival. Coloring contest winners will also be announced. Santa will light the tree at 6:00 pm. Shop local and visit Hinckley shops and restaurants before and after the tree lighting!
