Parking During Snowfall; Snow Routes:

No person shall park any motor vehicle of any class on any street in the village after two inches (2″) of snow has fallen, until such time as the snow has been plowed to the side of the street in the following locations which are designated snow routes in the village:

Birch Street between Lincoln Highway and George Cies Way

 

 

Cedar Street between Lincoln Highway and George Cies Way

Lincoln Highway between the east village limits to the west village limits

Any street in the village with curbing on both sides

Any vehicle found illegally parked under this subsection may be towed away under the order of either the police department or the public works department, and in addition to the fine, the violator or owner of the vehicle shall pay any necessary towing and storage charges to the towing agency prior to regaining possession of his/her vehicle.

The police department may issue tickets for parking violations of this subsection; however, no snow parking tickets shall be issued between nine o’clock (9:00) P.M. and four o’clock (4:00) A.M. if snow commences after nine o’clock (9:00) P.M. and accumulates to two inches (2″) or more before four o’clock (4:00) A.M.

The person parking any vehicle found illegally parked under this subsection shall be fined the sum of fifteen dollars ($15.00) to five hundred dollars ($500.00).
