Crime Stoppers is seeking information regarding a series of catalytic converter thefts that occurred in DeKalb this past weekend. From 4/22 – 4/25/16, eleven vehicles reportedly had catalytic converters cut from vehicles. Affected vehicles were located in the following areas: 500 block of E. Taylor St., 500-600 block of S. 3rd St., 400 block of Karen Ave., 100 block of Mattek Ave., 900 block of Grove St., 100 block of S. 8th St., and the 900 block of S. 9th St., DeKalb. Video of the suspected offenders and vehicle identified two males and a vehicle believed to be 2015/2016 Mazda 6i touring vehicle.
