Jazz in Progress, with special guest: Ron Modell, proudly announces “Jump, Jazz & Wail”, a Free Jazz Workshop for middle school musicians, followed by a free concert open to the public this Saturday, September 26th, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00pm at the Egyptian Theatre in DeKalb.
Jazz in Progress, under the direction of Dave Lehman is a 501(c)(3) not for profit community organization supporting the arts, and enjoyment of music. Jazz in Progress is composed of amateur musicians including current and former music educators. In addition to performing around DeKalb County, they look for opportunities to “give back” to area music programs and musicians.
