Public Invited to Re-dedication Ceremony of the Sycamore Civil War Memorial

The public is invited to the Re-dedication Ceremony of the Sycamore Civil War Memorial this Saturday, August 15th, 2015 at the DeKalb Courthouse lawn at 10:00am.

The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War General E. F. Dutton Camp #49 are inviting everyone to come to the re-dedication of the newly repaired Sycamore Civil War Memorial. Under the direction of the SUVCW, $10,000 was raised for repair. Historic sculpture and artist, Michael Kraus of the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall of Pittsburg, PA was commissioned to repair this important part of the community’s history.
