DeKalb Park District 80th Anniversary Celebration and Concert Tuesday

Join the DeKalb Park District in ending the celebration of their 80th anniversary with a full on birthday party this Tuesday, August 4th, 2015. The party will consist of traditional birthday games (think musical chairs) as well as arts and crafts at Hopkins Park.  Bring your appetite because at 7:00 pm they will distribute cake sponsored by Hy-Vee.

Finally the Park District will cap off the celebration with the DeKalb Municipal Band as they perform at 8:00 pm. Recognized throughout the country as one of the Midwest’s most historic musical organizations, the DeKalb Municipal Band will perform for the celebration at the Hopkins Park Band Shell, 1403 Sycamore Road, DeKalb.
