Come celebrate your child’s development! 4-C: Community Coordinated Child Care in collaboration with the DeKalb County Health Department is providing free developmental screenings for children ages birth to three. They facilitate activities that promote child development and use parent’s expert knowledge to help identify strengths and areas of concern. Parents will also learn about local resources that help support children and families. Services are available the last Monday of every month, with the next screening this Monday, February 25th, 2013, from 10am until 3pm.
Appointments are required. To schedule an appointment, call Briana at (815) 758-8149 ext. 295. Funding for this program is provided by the Illinois State Board of Education and United Way. Developmental screenings are held at the DeKalb County Health Department, 2550 Annie Glidden Rd, in DeKalb.
