4-C: Community Coordinated Child Care is hosting a workshop called ‘How to Start a Successful Child Care Business‘. This Tuesday, January 29th from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m, come to the 4-C office at 155 N. Third St., Suite 300 in DeKalb to learn more. This will be a free workshop for people interested in beginning a child care business in their home. The workshop will cover legal requirements, professional business practices and resources and support available through 4-C. A free binder of information is given to all participants.
Program licensing is offered by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) when it is desired or necessary for child care centers and private homes.
