The parking lot at South Pointe Conference Center was filled with equipment trucks. It looked like a major construction project was about to get underway. Instead the banquet center was being used as a staging area for Ramin Bahrani’s new film, starring Dennis Quaid, Zac Efron and Heather Graham.
It was shortly after lunch and Dennis Quaid took cart #5 from Green Tree Golf Club and headed out for a round at DeKalb County’s longest and toughest 9-hole golf course. Course manager Jane Farmer was excited for the opportunity.
“Quaid’s a really nice guy,” she said. “Totally down to earth. I asked him if I could get a picture with him and he said, ‘sure come on over.'”
Efron reportedly is in New Orleans. Heather Graham was at South Pointe.
The film crew arrived about 5am. They moved staging areas about 3pm.

Who is Heather Williams? I thought it was Heather Graham in this movie.
