From Aurora to Galesburg…..bargains await! Communities along the Route 34 corridor welcome visitors Father’s Day Weekend (June 17 – 19).  The celebration includes garage sales, flea markets, sidewalk sales and many other events, all along Rt. 34. Rt. 34 runs through the Southern part of DeKalb County and through the towns of Sandwich and Somonauk. In Sandwich, they will be holding a community wide garage sale for the event.

More on 34 stretches over 100 miles on US Route 34. The event is organized only to the extent that dates and locations are specified. The date is father’s day weekend (Friday and Saturday) every year. Sellers make their own hours. Most sales usually begin at 8 a.m. and are open until at least 5 p.m. The location is anywhere along US Route 34 between Galesburg and Aurora. You will find sales at homes, parking lots and fields along the route. Visit the More on 34 website for much more information and have fun antique and bargain hunting this weekend!
