Despite the doom & gloom of the forecast and some crazy mid-afternoon rain, Sycamore Speedway was able to get in both racing events this weekend. The warm humid nights led for a tacky 2 grooved track that sent the cars around in record time. The Super Late Models, Late Models, & 4 Bar SLM took to the high side of the track as it provided speed they usually wish for. The racing was superb, most features ran almost caution free. Every lap left you wondering who would end on top. Congrats to all of the winners from Friday & Saturday.

Mark Your Calendars… On Friday, July 24, 2015 they will feature Spectator, Powder Puff, Compact & Socker Stocker racing along with a Figure 8 and Compact Demolition Derby. Don’t forget on Fridays gates open at 6 pm, Time Trials at 7:15 pm and Racing at 8pm. General Admission for Friday is $12 for Adults, $5 for Children aged 5-11, and FREE for Children under the age of 5. Saturday, July 25, 2015 is a night for the whole family, for the DeKalb County Championship featuring Super Late Models, Late Models, Pure Stocks, and Modified Compacts PLUS the Badger Micro Sprints & a FREE bubble gum race for the kids. Pit Gates open at 4pm. General Admission Gate opens at 6pm. Time Trials are at 6:30 pm and Racing at 7:30 pm and Fireworks around 9:30 pm.
