Her lecture is held in conjunction with the NIU Art Museum’s current exhibition, “Manly Men, Girly Girls, and Everybody in Between.” The show, which closes Saturday, Nov. 15, features 10 contemporary artists whose work explores the gender continuum including expressions of what gender means and the expectation of each gender.
Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. For more information, call (815) 753-1936.
