WHAT SYCAMORE PARK WILL YOU VISIT NEXT?
Already we have shared Leon Larson Park, Elmer & Stanley Larson Park, Lake Sycamore/Rotary Park, and Chief Black Partridge Park.
THOSE ARE FOUR OF OUR SIXTEEN PARKS!!!
Today, meet Charley Laing Memorial Park and Brothers Park: Two small, neighborhood parks.
Brothers Park is in southwest Sycamore near Highland Drive and Willow Street. Site of a playground, pavilion/picnic tables, basketball court and open field space, the City of Sycamore also has a building and gated/fenced storage area there.
Charley Laing Memorial Park is brought to us by the generosity of the Laing Family and is the site of the former St. John’s Lutheran Church. You can find a great playground, small pavilion, benches and some shade in this nice, neighborhood park in the 300 Hundred Block of Main Street.
We hope you will get out and enjoy our parks.
