You know the holiday season is upon us when we start to see wine paired with shopping. Waterman Winery’s Evening Wine Tasting and Vendor Night is this coming Friday, November 16th from 5-9pm. Guests will be able to taste the locally grown and fermented wines and browse local vendors at the same time.
Each vendor, including the winery, will offer a “door prize” to benefit the NICE Center, a clothing and food pantry in Lee, IL. All proceeds from the door prize raffle will go to the NICE Center. Wine tasting is $10,and includes a souvenir wine glass. If guests do not want to taste wine, they may enter for $2 and receive 2 door prize tickets. This $2 fee goes to NICE too! Get ready for the holidays and have fun at the same time. It will be NICE!
Waterman Winery is located at 11582 Waterman Road in Waterman. From DeKalb, head south on Rt. 23 to Perry Road. Turn right onto Perry, go 1 mile to Waterman Road. Turn left, go south 3.5 miles. Winery is on the east side of Waterman Road.
