Don’t miss the Waterman Lions’ Summerfest and Antique Tractor and Truck Show this coming Saturday, July 15th! There is no admission, and there is no charge for most events. This is a family oriented affair that offers something for everyone!
The day will start at 7 a.m. with a farmer breakfast by ladies of the United Neighborhood Center and continue late into the evening with three live bands, a beer garden, and awesome fireworks! There will be fun, food, and entertainment for the entire family including an antique tractor and truck show with a parade and awards, antique tractor pull, Lions food concessions, train rides, kiddie tractor pull, kid’s stage show by Clinton Township Public Library, vintage baseball, model airplane demonstrations (weather permitting), crafter/flea market, petting zoo, Lion raffles, plus a lot of other activities.
They are adding some new attractions this year such as the Waterman Fire Department pork chop barbecue starting at 4 p.m., Waterman Summer Rec bag toss, and bingo by St James Catholic Altar and Rosary Society. Weather permitting, they will be offering twilight tethered balloon rides as well! See below for full schedule of events.
