The 2nd Annual Waterman Home for Christmas and Christmas House Walk will be going on all day this Saturday, December 13th, 2014. Come to Waterman for some great small town family fun as well as unique holiday shopping. The Waterman Home for Christmas contest for best decorated homes in Waterman will also be awarded Saturday.
Area Boy Scouts will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast at Indian Creek Middle School from 7-11am. A fireside lunch will be available 11:am until 1:30pm at the Waterman Presbyterian Church. All proceeds from the lunch will go to the N.I.C.E. center, Watermans local food pantry.
The day’s Holiday events in Waterman include photos with Santa, rides on the Holiday Lights Train and festive horse-drawn wagon rides. Please see full schedule of events at bottom of article.
Tickets for the Waterman House Walk are $12 in advance or $15 the day of the event. Advance tickets available at: Simply IRZSTBL, 200 W. Lincoln; Mae’s Fine Designs, 140 E. Lincoln; First State Bank, corner of Rts 23 and 30 and Waterman Winery on Waterman Rd., all in Waterman. Event day tickets will be available at each home on the Walk as well as at the Indian Creek Middle School (a.m.) and Clinton Township Community Building (p.m.).
Proceeds from this event will be used toward beautification of the community. Waterman Winery is offering a free wine tasting to all ticket purchasers over 21 and Simply IRZSTBL has a special gift for each ticket holder. Homes on the Walk include: Sarah and Jeff Kerner, 304 N. Elm; Dave Barnes, 310 N. Elm; Rebecca and Tom May, 430 N. Elm; and Susan and Ray Booker, 405 N. Elm.
