Who will really help our veterans?
It puzzles me to see Adam Kinzinger, a 16-year veteran, remain silent when President Trump calls military service members suckers and losers. When the Russians placed a bounty on American soldiers, Kinzinger said, “we have questions that need answers”, but nothing followed. He accepted Trump’s insults about Blue Star families and John McCain. Kinzinger’s behavior shows s tacit approval for Trump’s actions; destroying military credibility with an arbitrary withdrawal from Syria, undermining military justice by pardoning soldiers convicted of war crimes, and threatening to use the military against American citizens.
Dani Brzozowski is running as the Illinois Representative for District 16. Early on she had to advocate for her father, a career soldier, who suffered from PTSD. When help wasn’t available, Dani became fierce fighter for the rights of all vets and later for community members who needed jobs, social services, and health care. Vote for Dani Brzozowski to represent us in Congress. She will honor the military and our community – it’s what she’s been doing for years.
